Okay, I had to share just for the mental image. I'm perusing the GURPS forum on forums.sjgames.com, and I stumble across the following sentence:

Rather than bother a lot of people I just got out some white glue, carefully applied a thin white line of glue, caregully pushed the mages back into the book and repeated the process until they were all back.

The mental image of somebody shoving a bunch of mages into a book made me laugh. Even if the original author typoed 'pages'.

Well, can you think of a better place to store a mage?

I mean, having mages cluttering up the house is tedious--they tend to fight with each other, and they're dreadfully demanding. And they all want such different things! One needs dark and silence between forarys into the GWorld, while another may require a constant audience for Tales of Mage Greatness.

But stick them in a book, and you can find them any time you need them, without having to maintain them betweenwhiles.

I just wonder what strange ingredients are in that "white glue"?
