too tired to write much, tonight, I guess.

so, things to do this weekend:
fill in grad skewl apps.
study for GRE
get rid of these damned Rifts books (still debating if I wanna lot 'em all together or individually)
start hacking on project bookworm.
clean my room.

See you in the morning, I guess. When's the next three day weekend?

I like GURPS. I can play in a game without running into the system. But my personal favorite is In Nomine, to be honest. It's a lesser known system from SJGames.

What I look for in an RPG? Well, a good backdrop for starters (I originally fell in love with Rifts because all my friends were playing and the scenario was pretty cool). I like an intellectual challenge as opposed to a hack and slash game...if you read Knights of the Dinner Table, I'm a lot like Sarah. Down to even being a girl in a mostly guy hobby. :)

Right now, I'm playing in an IRC game that fits most of these criteria. It's a GURPS game, using the In Nomine sourcebook. He's trying to introduce us to the universe, which is fair because most people haven't seen it before. But I prolly know as much as he does, so I've got the challenge of keeping player knowledge away from the character. It's a lot of fun.

And yeah. That's pretty much the way we do it now, but the GM was a green newbie when it happened. Plus we had a huge party (he couldn't say no to new players) so that helped make it long.

I'd like to move off of just doing IRC games and do F2F ones. Prolly when I get to grad skewl, there's prolly more players in either the Bay Area or Seattle than there are in Redding. Redding's a little town stuck in conservativeville. The last game store left town a while back. It sucks. :P

Anyway, that's my thoughts.
