What happens when a dump truck meets a school bus.

So, I'm turning out of my neighborhood to head for work. I look both ways, and I see several police vehicles in the middle of Watt, lights flashing. That's unusual, I think. So I make the turn. They're in the middle of the road, and not in my way. As I get just a hair closer, I'm confronted with the scene in the picture. That's not the sort of thing one gets to see every day. I'm also glad I decided not to go out via Glentana... :)

Eeep. Scary at any point, but with special needs kids in the bus? Yipes.

Yeah. I'm glad nobody was hurt.

It looked much worse going by it this morning. That stretch of Watt can be a bit dicey trying to get off one of the side streets onto the main road, and the county's been parking their trucks on a side street as they do some construction. (The high school and the district office sits right there, too.)

But yeah, glad everybody's okay.
