(I should note, Jill's a graduate of UC Davis and lived in town for a couple years, so I guess she's allowed to talk a bit of smack.)

Bah. Tell Jill she could've had it way worse just a few minutes down the freeway. Kids in Dixon go to Davis to hang out somewhere fun. ;)

...damn, was also going to say that Davis still has my favorite coffee shop, but I looked it up on daviswiki and it closed. It also has daviswiki which, while possibly powered by hand-cranked generator, provides an unreasonable amount of entertainment to Central Valley expatriates. %)

Oh, there are plenty of late night accommodations for college students in Davis. As long as you define "late" as "10:00". At 10:00, everything shuts down. Or at least that's how it was when I lived there last about eight years ago.
