In honor of the win over Tennessee, I've decided to post this video.

A bit of background context: On every broadcast of college football, both schools playing in the game are allowed to show commercials for their institution. This was the one we used a few years back, and it never fails to crack me up every time I see it.

Even if you don't grok football, don't care about football, or don't care about Cal, it's worth watching one, because it's hilarious. %)

While I was a very happy camper that Appalachian St. downed Michigan and detroyed their season already, they played the App. St. self-promo commercial from the game on a radio show this morning and... oh my. It was just terrible. There was a cheesy 80's vocal-centric theme song. And it. Was. BAD.

Look it up on YouTube if you can find it. The folks on the radio were rolling over it -- and these weren't Michigan fans.


In other related, blissful news... Ohio State fans are apparently buying up Appalachian St. T-shirts like crazy which led to this glorious news story line from the ESPN news services:

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend -- and I want to wear my new friend's T-shirt!"
