Last minute swan song.

Alright. I've double and triple checked that I'm not missing anything, I did the dishes (I had some I'd generated over the week, and I just went ahead and did them all so that my gracious hosts have one less thing to worry about), and so now I've got some time to just sit quietly. I think DJ and Zoe have found something, given how intently they're staring at the stove. Anyway, Casey and Mary are due back in Oakland in half an hour or so, and I think that DJ and Zoe and I are going to finish off the last of my ham and cheese in that time. I'm pretty much ready to bail as soon as they're back, so it's all good. While DJ and Zoe seemed to have fun with me, I think they really do miss Casey and Mary.

It's been a quiet week. I didn't get much writing done, but I did manage to plow myself most of the way through the Riverworld series, which I had never read before, so that's all good. I found that DJ deals with me much better when I'm lying down -- I guess I'm not quite as scary that way. I had fun at Baycon, which was another plus to the week. But now it's time to go home and deal with all that crap that goes with being at home.

Anyway, there's stuff to do, and I can't think of much else to say, so I'll just say au revoir and farewell, and I'll see y'all when I get back to Sactown.
