one hundred thousand, one hundred two words.

I've written that many words on one story. On one story. And I'm still not done.

The end of this chapter is where the crescendo happens. At least at the moment. I thought it would be the end of the chapter for the last three chapters, and then I realize that I'm forgetting key pieces of detail. It may very well happen with this one as well, since a character won't stop scheming even though her last plans collapsed badly.

Also, I have finished through disc two of season five of Babylon 5. As this was my first time watching the entire series, I'm sad to note that it is coming to an end, and then I will no longer have the pleasure of watching it for the first time. While repeat viewings are nice too, nothing is quite as savory as that first time through a good book or movie or, in this case, television show.

Other than that, I've read 19 books in the last two months, which puts me on target for my goal of 100 books in a year.

Also, I might be going to Pennsylvania in June. (And we might hit NYC and DC while we're in the area.) The bad thing is that i have to put up with my folks to do this, but small sacrifices, eh? If you know anything about possible/neat places to see in Philly, NYC, or DC, ping me. (The main reason we're going is a wedding in Allentown, but Mom figures while we're back there...) In regards to NYC, I may try to get [livejournal.com profile] jrenken and/or [livejournal.com profile] tropism to come and hang with me, if for nothing else than to keep me sane while I'm dealing with my family. ;)

Anyway, that's about it for a state of the katster. I live, I've just not felt up to being very talkative with friends. I apologize to you all for not answering comments or posts as well as I ought to, but I've sorta needed the space in my own head.

Please remind me if there's anything you need from me, or whatnot.

P.S. Real Life Preacher continues to rock my socks. Read this. It's his story, but there's so many places I nodded, because it's partly my story too.

Next to my parents? Hell, I need the basic insanity to counter the extreme sanity waves my parents give out.

Sane is relative, y'know. ;)

Since I'm also in PA in June (I'm always in PA these days, let me know if you're passing through central PA, if you like.

Closest we're going to get is Allentown, I'm afraid. And I think that's still in Eastern PA.

Lots of snarfs out there. Lots and *lots* of them. ;-)

There's a chance I'll be out that way in June, too.

Hehe, well, I was planning to pack the camera, shoving Blu in the bag isn't going to take up too much more room. ;) It's going to be a bit of a whirlwind trip.

I really like this sentence. Please remind me if there's anything you need from me.
