moving violations

I got myself pulled over today. For the first time since I got my license, which was February 1, 1995. So I almost made 11.5 years before getting pulled over for the first time. Of course, if I hadn't decided to go to Berkeley to (a) get tapioca tea and (b) see if![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
luns was around (I forgot he's in Asia), my streak might still be living.
Luckily, it is a fix-it ticket, not a ticket for violating the rules of the road (y'know, like speeding or running a red). For one thing, it's cheaper. :) For another, it gets fixed, and then it's not a problem.

And it has a section of the California Vehicle Code cited, so it's technically a moving violation. But it's a minor one that does not go on the DMV record, which is cool.
