So, I went to a little shindig down in the Bay Area, where a couple of good friends of mine were getting hitched. And I'm so happy for the both of them, both mactavish and deyo. I caught a lot of photos, but I like this particular one. deyo is about to slay a piece of wedding cake with the sword and then bring it over to his newly-minted wife so they both can lick off the blood of their enemies.

Besides, the cake tasted good.

My congratulations to them both. It was nice to be able to make it, considering that last weekend I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to. So it makes me happy that I was able to come and share in the day with them both.

And mactavish? I went ahead and got a Flickr pro account for this, so that the full shots of my camera could be saved up there, plus I had more to upload than the Flickr free accounts would let me do in a month. So go ahead and feel free to save and use any of the pictures I took for any purpose that you want.

'Cause I waved at you a few times, but was met with a blank expression, and didn't get a chance to actually let you know my LJ name so you can connect a name to a face. 'Cause I think before this we've only met once before in real life. And then, I had to head back to Sacramento early, 'cause my ride was leaving.

But there was a person wearing a black shirt with a picture of the galaxy on it, and that would have been me.

Anyway, no worries. I figured we should have all worn "Hi, my LJ name is..." tags, and I even said as much to Joe. %)
