*pokes at senior yearbook*

To my undying shame, the shirt I wore to school the day club pictures were taken can very clearly be seen to have the letters ARDINAL on it in bright white letters. I guess I ought to be thankful the other word on the shirt, printed in black on a shirt which was a color which comes out black in black and white photos, is unreadable, which leads to plausible deniability. (The actual color of the shirt is given away if you can figure out the letter that was hidden by my sitting positions.)

If I can get access to a good scanner, I should probably scan these... ;)

You could always say that it says "Be Damned" on the other side.

Bwah!

Didn't even think of that. I'll have to remember that. %)

At the time the photos were taken, I had t-shirts in my closet from half the Pac-10 schools -- Oregon, UCLA, USC, Berkeley, and 'furd. It's just I happened to be wearing the 'furd shirt that day -- not surprising, because at the time the photos were taken, that's were I wanted to go.

In the end, I turned from the dark side and found the light.

My sister swiped the shirt from the closet and proceeded to wear it to the bus station the first time I came home from college. I know she did it to annoy me, but it was clever.

I had a "disco sucks" t-shirt on the day my "afs student goes to australia" photo was taken for my school paper. (It was 1980, mind you. Disco was just fading, I'd had the shirt for a couple of years.) The teacher-adviser had me turn it inside out for the photo. In retrospect, it would have been as easy for the photographer, who developed and printed her own stuff, to reverse the negative before printing, as the shirt was thin enough that one can read "disco sucks" in reverse now. :)

It's ok, my senior yearbook caught me on film wearing a Yale shirt.

There is also a picture of me floating around somewhere where I'm wearing a Cal shirt. If I find it, I'll scan it in for you.

I have a few pictures of me in one of those sweatshirts. I didn't even apply there...by the time I put in my applications I knew I wanted to go to Cal. The day I got my acceptance letter I gave the sweatshirt to my sister. I don't know if I had a Cal shirt in high school, I think I got one when we went to visit-but I know I don't have a picture of me in it until I got to college.
