I recently read an SF novel with a character named Katrina in it. It was a little weird but I got used to it, and since I know you I don't really associate the name with the hurricane unless I'm reading science stories.
Anaglyph glasses, eh? I have a similar pic hanging over my desk at work that I generated from that thing, because I make 3D pics all day some days with glasses very much like those.
We have both here and peoples' preferences vary. I like the red-green ones partly because the lenses are bigger and I can see through them more easily while wearing glasses.
Here's my anaglyph icon. It should work with both types.
There is a Rita someone on one of the cable news channels - I can't remember which one when I was flipping - and I remember her standing there, saying, "This is Rita, live from hurricane Rita-ravaged area (whatever) - we now go to Bob in (other area of Rita debris)"
(Bob speaks, then Bob says): "Live from Rita. Rita, back to you to see more Rita coverage."
I swear they were using the name even more than usual, just to give her more publicity....
