fiddly detail
May. 10th, 2004 11:14 amThe sysadmin in me knows it's true:
"If just one piece of mail gets lost, well, they'll just think they forgot to send it. But if *two* pieces of mail get lost, hell, they'll just think the other guy hasn't gotten around to answering his mail. And if *fifty* pieces of mail get lost, can you imagine it, if *fifty* pieces of mail get lost, why they'll think someone *else* is broken! And if 1Gb of mail gets lost, they'll just *know* that Arpa is down and think it's a conspiracy to keep them from their God given right to receive Net Mail ..."

More to the point, though, augh, augh, augh. Need to do this report.

Need to do this report. <a href=""http://www.sims.berkeley.edu/academics/courses/is257/s04/Assignments_New.html">http://www.sims.berkeley.edu/academics/courses/is257/s04/Assignments_New.html</a> (scroll down to final report). Making it harder on myself is that I didn't do the previous assignment, as that was the point in the semester I was mired in an ugly depression and couldn't think. But god, some of the stuff he wants...I mean, I understand the php scripts that interact with the database. That's fine, but *reports*? *sigh*
One of these days, I'll figure out why I wanted this degree, I will. That day isn't today.

I think it's too close to not be on purpose. And I raise my hat to the individual who wrote it.
