I'm procrastinating. and I like baseball. So hence a poll. :) And it shall not be "SBC Park". :P All games are obvious my beloved San Francisco Giants vs. whatever the team in question.

[Poll #249976]

The band has no association with the team (besides my orange and black band shirt that gets mistaken for a team shirt at times...) :)

When I say lower level, I mean lower level along the first base line.

A little rationale

The Marlins are the world series winners, and have kept quite a bit of that team. Plus, they beat the Eeeevil Empire, and deserve our support.

And if either Clemens or Petitt are pitching, you will see something with the Rangers that you may not see again in your life.

And of the four teams you list in April, I, personally, and this is a very humble opinion, think the D'backs are least bad... Though you could always choose to go and cheer for the Phillies; it's a sound they never hear at home. :)

Er... Clemens and Pettite are with the Astros, not the Rangers.

The Rangers have, um... Alfonso Soriano.

*kicks stuff*

Looking at the choices, I'd say your top bets are the A's (because they're perrenial contenders), the Dodgers (because they're your rivals), or the Marlins (because they have awesome young pitching) for April, and the Phillies (and no one else) for May, because no one else looks to be a -strong- contender this year.

Now I'm not sure what I clicked. ^^;

Damn, you mean there's TWO teams in Texas?

^__~

(You can tell I'm mostly a fan-by-marriage, right? Doesn't mean I don't like the game, though.)

You have more chance than I of picking a good game at least being in the same country. And why is baseball a world series with only two countries playing?

Now, y'see, they're all suggesting good teams that'll be impressive to watch. I, lacking in knowledge of the National League (even moreso than my general lack of MLB knowledge), suggest you pick the crappiest team of the bunch, to increase the odds of you and Zib cheering on a victorious Giants squad.

Oakland and Texas are playing the Giants in April?..*checks* ah, spring training games. The Cubs are doing much the same with Arizona in Phoenix that weekend before they head out to Cincinnati to start the season proper. Either of those would be a good one imo. As for regular season games in April, Atlanta's probably the best on paper, but they're not nearly as strong as they used to be.

May..Philly would be a good one, Arizona fairly good. Colorado's a wild card, as they probably won't be nearly as good outside Coors Field, and Pittsburgh is just biding time until the Cubs steal trade for some more of their players for the stretch drive ~.~ (Too bad the Cubs aren't in the Bay in May, but I see they're visiting here...hmm...)

It's fun to make out in nosebleed. Not that I would ever do such a thing.
