the weirdness of it all...
Feb. 11th, 2004 12:07 pm"The upshot of all this is that we live in a universe whose age we can't quite compute, surrounded by stars whose distances we don't altogether know, filled with matter we can't identify, operating in conformance with physical laws whose properties we don't truly understand."
--Bill Bryson, A Short History of Nearly Everything
I love the universe. :) And this book kicks ass. (It's a history of science, and it's really well done, and Bryson uses humour in a lot of things to make his point.)
At some point, I'll come back to this quote and my beliefs, but right now, I don't feel like thinking about it.
