i can barely breathe.

the girl sitting next to me in class must have put on enough perfume to drown a whale this morning. My already beat up sinuses are screaming for mercy.

I consider this sort of this to be justification for upending a cup/bottle/bucket of water over the person responsible.

I'm allergic to perfume, and that's bad enough, most of the time. But when someone's wearing enough perfume that my allergies don't have time to kick in... I've refused to serve customers on account of not being able to breathe in thier presence.

One of the moms at school wears so much that it clings to her daughter after she says goodbye, then for half an hour or so, I sneeze when I go near the kid.

Take a bathroom break. Make a point of telling the prof "sorry, I can't breathe" as you leave.
