Green is our seasonal color. Folks think we don't get seasonal color here, but we do. Winter and spring are green, summer and fall are brown.

Not in the East Bay, I'm at home at my folks' house in Redding for the Christmas holidays.

East Bay is very rare.

Redding, once every couple years where it sticks. The biggest one I can recall is the 4-5 inches it dropped in five hours my senior year (that I walked the two miles home from the high school in. My mom killed me.)

They're predicting a foot on the valley floor tonight (That's Redding and surrounding areas), so we'll see...

Just wonderful.. I've got friends that are planning on driving from Salem to the Fresno area tomorrow. I bet they'll be waiting.. the Siskyou (sp?) pass is already closed, and there's ~6" on the ground here already..

Would you be so kind as to keep me posted as to the conditions of I5 such that you know of? I'd very much appreciate it.

Right now, it's closed from Redding to the state line with Oregon.

It used to snow all the time in Redding/Enterprise when I was a kid. Well, not in August . . . but we used to have at least a couple of snows a winter, and they were big enough that we could sled on the little hill in the back yard and build snowmen, and we built at least a couple of snow forts.

It doesn't seem to snow there so often anymore.

I am out in West Seattle about a mile from the sound depending on which direction you want to go to. It rarely snows, but when it does, boy howdy! :) you live closer to Mt Ranier so you probably get buckets full every year.

Not quite bucketsful, but we did have some good snow the friday before thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I'm only at 500 feet, fortunately, it's a road they don't plow ever...
No work if it snows!
