battery life failing!

Anybody know, offhand, what's the best way to refurbish a laptop battery? Mine's gone from two and a half hours of charge time to half an hour, and I can't really afford a new one at the moment ('cause batteries for my laptop run about $200 or so, and I just don't have that kind of money.)

It's hard to roam around and have to be alert to where there's power plugs.

Anyway, if anybody could help me out, I'd appreciate it.

$200US? I picked up a used Fujitsu laptop battery for $20US recently off ebay. Plug the model number into the search page and see if you can find something.
