Take Free Big 5 Personality Test

The Big Five is currently the most accepted personality model in the scientific community. The Big Five emerged from the work of multiple independent scientists/researchers starting in the 1950s who using different techniques obtained similar results. Those results were that there are five distinct personality traits/dimensions. Here are your results on each dimension:

Extroversion results were low which suggests you are quiet, unassertive, and aloof.

Friendliness results were high which suggests you are very good natured, trusting, and helpful but possibly too much of a follower

Orderliness results were low which suggests you tend to be unreliable, lazy, careless, negligent, and unmotivated.

Emotional Stability results were low which suggests you are very worrying, insecure, emotional, and nervous.

Intellectualness results were high which suggests you are very creative, original, curious, imaginative but possibly not very practical.

Overall, you scored highest on Intellectualness and lowest on Emotional Stability.

A lot of this reflects the bipolar, I think. But I look like a pretty horrible person by the way the results turned out. Why is Orderliness and Emotional Stability all pretty much negative adjectives? That, to me, seems to make the test invalid. Because my inability to keep things organized doesn't change the fact that I try not to be any of those. Grr.

Anyway, that's enough musing on a stupid test. Take this as you will.

I agree. I took it too, and got 'medium' on Emotional Stability, for example, but everything was still all negative. I sent them a comment in on that. >_

I got different results in at least one category, and the description was just as negative. I think the fault lies with the test.
