The Big Five is currently the most accepted personality model in the scientific community. The Big Five emerged from the work of multiple independent scientists/researchers starting in the 1950s who using different techniques obtained similar results. A lot of this reflects the bipolar, I think. But I look like a pretty horrible person by the way the results turned out. Why is Orderliness and Emotional Stability all pretty much negative adjectives? That, to me, seems to make the test invalid. Because my inability to keep things organized doesn't change the fact that I try not to be any of those. Grr.

I agree. I took it too, and got 'medium' on Emotional Stability, for example, but everything was still all negative. I sent them a comment in on that. >_

I got different results in at least one category, and the description was just as negative. I think the fault lies with the test.
