Naw, this is the downstairs lab at SIMS, which is much more homey than it was last year. I'll have pictures of my place when I can finish getting unpacked. Soon.

I should add that SIMS is in South Hall, the oldest building at Berkeley. So, that woodwork dates to 1872, which isn't old by East Coast standards, but it's pretty old for West Coast standards. :)

I know it's silly, but I read that initally as "a SIMs student" as in the game The Sims.

Hmm, now there's a thought for Maxis next one, SIM Student....

hee, you're not the only one. I once said in my IRC channel, "I got a fellowship from SIMS!" and the response was "I wish I could get a fellowship to play Sims."

Naw, it's the School for Information Management and Systems, as the banner in the classroom I'm in right this second tells me.

But it's still funny. :)
