So I was poking through my old posts, and I came across my "upset the giants lost the series" post.

And then I fell over laughing, because mrfnord replied to that post with:


I say we nuke Disneyland in retribution.

Christ, the next thing you know the Mighty Ducks will win the Stanley Cup...

And I fell over laughing because of how damned close that came to being true. %)

Yeah, the Sharks came a lot closer in the 2001-02 season. But that's the good thing about being a sports fan; there's always next year. (Although in the case of the Orioles, well... uh... Camden Yards is pretty.)

I'm a Detroit Red Wings fan. It's a long and complicated story that has its origins in my high school physics textbook, of all places. Yes, I am a geek, why do you ask? ^_~

Glad that the cool breezes did come your way. We've been having reasonable weather out here lately, but I sympathize. Out this way it's usually not so much heat as humidity.

Ben and Jerry's is wonderful stuff.

And I shall have to remember to send hugs your way more often, then. ^_^
