:-( I'm sorry. It would have been fun. But you never know -- I got to do something very cool for a summer internship only because I'd been turned down by my first choice.

I asked before -- what exactly are you looking for? And what are your qualifications?

Well, I'm currently halfway through a master's in information management at the moment. My undergraduate degree is in history.

This project was perfect because it mixed a lot of the things that I liked and what I was looking for. I want to do something that would help compliment the skills I'm learning in graduate school (project management, information organization and retrival, and things that are based off of that.) Otherwise, I'd like something that could hone other skills I have, which mainly fall in the areas of system administration and web design.

And since I don't have any other options atm, it's kinda crushing to see that I didn't get this.

Dunno if that helps any. My resume is at http://www.retstak.org/resume.php if you're curious.

now the php decides to misbehave. I'm correcting that. In the meantime, I have an HTML copy of the resume at http://www.retstak.org/resume.html

Heh heh... I was about to point that out to you. Good catch.

P.S. What you told me in the post -- the sort of position you want and why you want it -- that's exactly what you should have in that annoying goals section of your resume.

I'd say, "Come to Boston anyhow," but the $$$ issue rears its ugly head.

Sorry, sweetie. Does this mean you have to spend the summer at home? I hope not...

I think a lot of it has to do with the Young Adult Office; Rachel and Jonah were both *very* active in continental YRUU stuff, and bridged up neatly; they're in with the right people. I think you would have been great for the technical aspects of the thing, but a huge portion of what these interns are actually going to be doing is networking, and *everybody* who's ever been to ConCon or GA probably knows Rachel Wallis.
It has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with them; it doesn't make you any less valuable...just less connected. ...give it time.
