This article, on the 14 points of fascism, are very very scary. Especially when contrasted with the current mess in the United States. I'd be hesitant to out and out call it fascism, but...it's pretty damned close and it's scary.

my analysis [fwiw] is that the USA isn't quite there yet, and Europe is someways behind that. But there is definate developing trend in that direction. Well, actually the words that sprang to mind were "lemming-like headlong dash towards..."

An excellent find, I'm going to post this in a couple of other places I think it'd do some good.
