Could be worse, she could be demanding a spree-buy of duct tape and that you pay the bill.

Along those lines, may I suggest a duct-tape and plastic wrap combo on all ventiliation sources around her room? When the cops ask you can explain her anal-retentive obsessions... O:)

We have ant problems on and off. I learned to spray bleach on the ant trail - it kills the ants and kills the scent they follow. Then I clean up the ants and mop up/wipe down the and infested area with water and bleach.

Bleach is your friend.

Has she ever, say, used a broom on the kitchen, swept up the crud, and looked at all the ant food?

Hey ... convince her that if she doesn't keep the ants well fed, that some ants will eat living human flesh ... offer to buy her a lot of food containment materials "since she knows the risks" ... and die laughing. :)

No, see, what you should do is get some sugar, dissolve it in water, and paint a line into her room from the kitchen, with a large patch under her bed or something.

I don't get it. We had an ant problem and I had to keep the cereal in the fridge else the ants would get in it.

On a good note, frost flakes taste better chilled. Then again, they're frosted flakes. I could snort sugar straight from the box and get the same effect
