the day started off icky, got better, then dropped back to mediocre and then bad.

Maybe I need to take a long, long, long leave of absence from life in general. :P

not sure about much of anything anymore, to be honest.

i think the majority of us would like to take a very long hiatus at this point in time. keep in mind, you did something earlier that may have granted all of us some respite. that's a favour any one of us would be glad to return at first opportunity.

I don't honestly recall it ever being this hot and windy in May ever, and I grew up here. And this is the first year I've ever had anything resembling allergies. Sinus headache for a month, whee.

Well, I grew up in Sacramento, so the heat, while stifling, isn't unbearable.. it's the weather being so hot and then seeing Mt. Shasta in the distance, covered in snow, that weirds me out. :)
