...it boils down to this. Project involves volunteer work. Professor, being the business orientated person he is, will want a cost analysis. A monetary cost analysis. You see where this is boiling into.

So, I need to make a time to talk to Yale (the prof) about my project and see if we should change it down the line, or what, and see if I can work this out with him.

otherwise she likes it. :)

most of that worry was for nothing.

but I'm still dealing with a lot of the demons in that last post, and I'd appreciate it if people would comment on it, because I really need the reassurance at the moment.

anyway, back to work. Make the bed, so I feel like I accomplished something today and then sit down to homework.

Well, a quick google on the "value of volunteer labor" found this link to a Bureau of Labor Statistics site. It gives a value and a formula for finding the value of volunteer labor in 2002. Lotsa other neat links showed up as well.

I knew about this because, as a social worker, I had to dig this up once to help apply for a grant. Everyone sing the Social Science Song!
