Why is it the opinion of most global watchers that Bush is acting pretty dumb with regards to North Korea?

Because people often do strange things when they feel they're at the point of nothing left to lose.

Word to the wise (and my roommate, although I doubt she'll take it).

She's gonna be wishing that she had the roommate of last semester back if she keeps pushing like this...and I fully intend to embarrass her in front of her friends. That's it.

Because in the global politics of our apartment, she's just backed North Korea in a corner.

Refusing to talk to me, leaving snarky notes all over the place, hogging the fridge and cabinets in the kitchen, burning incense in the common area (when a) I'm not sure we're allowed to have open flame in here and b) I think she's using the stuff that gives me really bad sinus headaches) and just in general trying her absolute best to make me feel like a long term guest in my own apartment.

And I'm just tired of it. I let her have her way last semester because it wasn't worth fighting her over, but she's been pushing even harder since she got back and I'm tired of it. So by god if she wants things disinfected, I'll start carrying a Lysol can around with me. And stuff like that.

he's not being dumb about north korea, he's being dumb about iraq, and the fact that he is handling north korea differently highlights that fact.
