Okay. I have a thirty dollar gift certificate. I've decided to spend it at the computer games store in the mall.

I've narrowed what I want down to three possibilities: Civ3:Play The World, Myst III Deluxe Edition, and Neverwinter Nights.

Now, I need some help here. I've got pros and cons to all these in my minds.

PTW: Pro: I like Civ, this is the expansion pack for it. Con: I'm not very good at Civ, nor am I really interested in online gaming.
M3D: Pro: It's the Deluxe Edition, so it comes with the soundtrack CD and the strategy guide. Cheapest of the three. Con: I've heard Myst III really isn't that good of a game.
NWN: Pro: I've heard good things about the game from other people. Con: Not sure I like the genre, most expensive.

Help? Your thoughts are appreciated.

DO NOT GET PtW.

It's kinda fun, but it KICKS the difficulty through the ROOF. I just got my ass kicked in a 2 human vs. 3 computer game.
Also, any multiplayer game has an inherent lag, even if your ping to the other player(s) is 1 ms.

Myst III cool. I ADORE the CD - I think I like the CD more than the game. The game also furthers the story in the books, a little - if you've read them, it makes it better. Also, the little pewter Squee is kinda cute.
If you're an insane Myst fan, get this.

NWN is okay... they did a lot of work on the system, but it still bugs FREQUENTLY, and the single-player campaign isn't the best story I've ever played. And getting Mods is a risky and time-consuming business. (I didn't even really like 2f's - I was so burnt out on the game by then).

To sum up - sounds like PtW is bad for you... M3D isn't replayable at all... and NWN is buggy and not always that fun.

Uh....wow, that actually rules them all out. Uh... wait for SimCity 4? ^_~

No, seriously, NWN is prly your best bet for overall playability and replayability.

I've read reviews for Never Winter Nights. Sounds gooody goody good. Also, PVP the comic strip likes it. That's always a good point.

Also, my pants hurt
