When I was younger, and off in college, I didn't have a lot of money. A solicitor called and talked me into a credit card. I was young; I was stupid. There was a point when this credit card bill was somewhere over a thousand bucks. And despite a few fits and starts (and a very nasty stain that's going to take another year to get rid of, grr, but maybe it will mean less with a string of on time payments), I've made the first major step towards not being in debt to the credit card company. I am now within striking distance of having it paid off. Perhaps even in time for apartment hunting in Junish.

This is a happy moment for me, for what are probably obvious reason.

Woo! Congrats. The credit card demons are a particularly nasty sort. I only use mine when I have to buy something online or whatever, now. I think I'm going to have to put it away when my income becomes less in the fall.
