There are multi-millionaire (in US$, even) in Canada, but they don't brag about it, or try to convince other people that it makes them better. Except for the Seagrams.
Now, if your distant ancestors killed a lot of people and took their stuff, THAT'S something to brag about. Which is, in essence, the position of the Royals and their ilk. ^_^
