And yes, Canada is U.S. Lite...all the comforts of home with a strange British aftertaste.

It's acutally really fun being here despite the weirdness and the jet lag. And no, I'm not saying Canada is weird, I'm just saying it seems weird to my wonderful norms that I learned in the U.S.

it's weird hearing a call for tempuature at 20 degrees, it's also weird seeing the Nova Scotian license plates when I'm used to Californian ones... ;)

so yeah. On the bright side, the nervousness I had that things wouldn't be the same in RL as they were in netspace with regards to Patrick was right, but not in the direction I was worried about. In other words, things are going really good. :)

and that's about it, this'll be sporatically updated over the next few weeks, Patrick's slackness in updating his journal might spread. ;

We'll get to it...keep in mind, I've only been in country for less than 36 hours. And I got fairly whacked by jet lag yesterday. I think I still am, it's rather early to be awake. Oddly enough, it's 6 AM in katsterland.
