Whoa....

Okay. Have I said that Orson Scott Card is one of the best writers I've read?

I just finished the last book in the Homecoming series. And I can feel things shifting in my brain the way they've done for only a few books before. New ideas to account for in my reckoning of the universe and in my relationship with my creator. And surprisingly, one of those books that's shifted things in my head before is Speaker for the Dead, so Card's got two books on that short list. :)

So yeah, if you get a chance, check those books out. I've not been that blown away in a while.

One of these days, I need to sit down and write out a tentative statement of belief. But right now...I'll focus on getting tired. I think.

After trading entirely too many comments with [livejournal.com profile] tropism on science fiction, and the nature of being out of phase, and a few other random subjects, I think I'll go to bed now.

Yes, [livejournal.com profile] zibblsnrt, feel free to whack me upside the head a few times in the morning.

g'night LJ world!

I don't know how I feel right now. Mainly all conflicted.

I'm not sure how to respond to this email, and I'm not sure what to do.

I'm not sure about a lot of things, and hopefully I can shove all my thoughts aside until the weekend, but I doubt that's doable.

my head feels like it's about to implode, so...
