Sounds a lot like a warped Nietzchian philosophy, to me.

And to be honest, he's right in quite a lot of points. But the opening of another's eyes cannot happen forcefully. No ideology can be forced - history has proved that.
If you truly wish to teach, you must let people make their own mistakes. The parent's dilemma.

So it goes.

Well, no ideology can be forced, at least, until a majority of the populace subscribes to it.

But yeah, that's pretty much my impression of the thing. That, and a bit of "Sheesh, if this's the way the Revolution starts, that's pathetic."

Hmm..

The writer does makes some interesting points about fear, life, death, and control, but errs in creating fear by bombing mailboxes and alluding to future strikes. Many have tried to combat fear with fear throughout history, but they always have and always will fall prey to their own fear.

"He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."
Nietzsche, Jenseits von Gut und Bose, IV, 146
