So yesterday, I dropped a card in a green pastel envelope and a package full of books in the mail, bound for Nova Scotia. I wonder which will get to NS first... (they left Anderson at the same time, I handed both card and package over to the clerk. Package got sent airmail too, so that has no bearing...this'll be interesting.)

I think the card will go first, the package has to pass through customs.

And I am such a geek for caring about this...

Hey, USPS is actually fairly decent. It's CanPost that sucks. ;)

What, you -like- Canpost? Sheesh. USPS loses almost nothing I send; maybe 0.5% of the time something doesn't get to where it ought to -- and not once has that been a package for me. Canpost has about a 75% loss-rate for me for anything which isn't sent global priority...all of which have been packages.

I wouldn't complain if that happened, but seriously, hon... I think those tapes vanished into someone's collection. They're prolly wondering when you're gonna send another through so they can give one to their now-corrupted little sister or something. ;)
