small items of happiness...
Mar. 7th, 2002 11:38 amTo go from my house in Anderson, just south of Redding, to school, which is in North Redding, I usually hop on Interstate 5. Now that ribbon of concrete runs all the way from Mexico to British Columbia, so I shouldn't have been surprised to see what I did.
One of the long-haul semis had a Canadian flag sticker stuck to the bumper of his trailer. And when I saw that, I was happy.
It's one of those small items of happiness that brighten what was otherwise a dreary day. And in keeping with the luck, when I got to school, I found a parking spot at the front of the lot, which is very rare.
Yep. So far it's been a *good* day. :)

Spying that Canadian flag was prolly the best thing I did all day. :)
