nightmares suck.

nightmares where you watch your mom suddenly decide to jump off a bridge really suck, especially when they jolt you into waking up.

On the other hand, dreams about flying are cool, and my brain decided that after the suicide dream, I deserved a break.

Don't ask why they were so vivid tonight, I couldn't tell you.

A nightmare involving a loved one suddenly committing suicide suggest aprehension at the fear of a changing relationship with that loved one. "Jumping off a bridge" generally means a major life change.

Heh. I've been having particularly vivid dreams for the past week or so...no nightmares though.

But then, I almost never do have nightmares, and when I do, I pretty much always shrug off their effects in moments.

Last nightmare I had, though, was one that really screwed me up. I won't go into the rest of the plot of the dream, but it wound up with someone pointing a gun in my face, and then he pulled the trigger as I was jolted out of sleep by a truely -massive- lightning strike. It musta been within a hundred feet of my house.

...I was in the "can't come out from under blankets, monsters will eat me" mode for about 20 minutes before I managed to snap out of it.
