Thank you, Canada.

The URL tells the story of what happened in Gander, Newfoundland, but I'm sure it was the same all over the country. I've heard stories that it was the same in Halifax, and I remember fearghaill saying he volunteered to help.

I wasn't on any of those flights, nor knew anybody, but reading this...in the time of our need, Canada came through in a way I'm not sure we could return if the chance ever came. And I want to simply say, I'm proud of you guys. And no matter what my government may do, here's thanks from one american who is proud to claim you guys as a neighbor.

Good neighbors, good friends. Let's keep it that way.
