...as Cal offense sucked, but still pulled out a win. And WSU didn't find the endzone all day and was 2-18 on third and fourth down conversions. The defense shut them down. Next week, Washington, in Berkeley. They're better this year, and we *never* want to overlook an opponent, so it should be another good game. Cal improves to 6-1 on the season, and gets bowl eligible for the fourth season in a row.

I wouldn't worry all that much about Washington..jump them early and Willingham will fold like a cheap card table. It's true, you can't overlook teams these days (I'll be fretting muchly over UCLA by Wednesday or so, mostly as I don't know them that well) but I don't think the Huskies have the offense to keep up with Cal in a shootout. True, they did give USC a decent game, but I don't think USC is nearly as good as they were a year ago..and Willingham completely bungled the end of that contest (as usual).
