The college I'm taking classes at has a literary review. Yeah, it's different, considering this is just a community college I'm taking classes at, but the point boils down to whether I should submit a couple poems to the review.

Anyway... I'd say go for it. There's no harm in submitting, as long as you're comfortable with all the possible results.

Go for it. The worst that can happen is that people don't understand, right? (Though if you're feeling especially down, it's true that you might not want to take the chance of meanies. It does depend on the nature of the review and the reviewers.)
