Two things.

One, I'm testing a new client to see how it works out.  If it's really good, we might see more posts from me on the Nuke Free Zone, which is always a good thing.

Two, I'm debating setting up a Wiki to try to keep all my creative ideas corralled somewhere where I can see what I'm doing with them.  Anybody have any recommendations for a specific one to set up?

Three (I lied!), tell me what's going on with y'all these days.  Sometimes, it just feels like one thing after another and I've not heard from most of you, so tell me something, anything. :)

That's all for now.

But w00t, two straight days with an LJ post!

The two wikis I've used at work are TWiki and, currently, DocuWiki. Both use flat files rather than a database, which I like. TWiki is written in perl and uses RCS for page history; it tends to be ugly if you don't install a theme.

I'm currently looking at ikiwiki, which is based on Subversion. The nice side effect is that you get to use your favorite text editor to edit pages.

Both ikiwiki and DocuWiki make it easy to set up comment pages and blogs.

I'm tired. All the time. You think it'd be okay to take this weekend off ? :)

HI KAT.

Anyways, as y'know, I'm back at home, with dialup. I'm looking for a job, dealing with the brothers, telling myself I should get working on some stories, and pining. Life continues merrily :)

Appears to be a hosted service. I don't think that's what Katster's looking for. Mine were links to software that you install on your own server. A little more hassle, perhaps, but much more versatile.

Yeah. I'm lucky in that I have a server admin who doesn't mind my playing around with things in my webspace, so I am looking for something to install.

Although, I've seen [livejournal.com profile] archangelbeth's wiki, and I have to confess it's close to concept of what I want to do with mine. I'll have to poke at the options you gave me.

Hmmm, quick poking shows that docuwiki might just do what I want, so I'm gonna set up a testbed and play with it.

Thanks for the suggestion. :)
