So things are going well. The rainbow in this shot was taken Monday evening at my grandmother's house, and maybe it's a hopeful sign that things are about to go well.

I've got internet here, but I don't know when I'm heading to Sactown. I'll let you all know later.

It's very rare that I've seen a photo good enough to capture the outer rainbow. (Actually, all rainbows are double, did you know? It's just that the outer one is much fainter. It's a result of the refraction; if you look carefully, for example, the colors on the outer rainbow are reversed.) Also, this shot is very well composed. The arc frames the tree quite artistically.
