So. I'm suddenly forced to sit at my desk and use a mouse and deal with a CRT just like the rest of the world.

Why?

Macavity (my laptop) broke, and won't turn on, so it gets to make a trip to Memphis or Fremont to rest and relax and get operated on. In the meantime, I get to use Prufrock, which is a perfectly servicable machine except for the fact that it's got a sucky keyboard that's kinda sticky and doesn't always register the shift key, a mouse that sucks worse than the keyboard, and an old CRT monitor with I Voted stickers all over it. :)

i haven't even shipped the laptop out to be fixed yet and it's already missed.
