..but you are doing the right thing for right now. You will not get stuck in Redding. This is a prophecy of which I am fairly confident, because I have never yet known anyone do anything to help someone else out--especially if it involved real sacrifice and even suffering--and not seen it bear some kind of worthwhile fruit down the road. This isn't even particularly mystical. Seems to be one of the basic laws of the universe, or sumsuch.
