My dad came today. He looked at the car and immediately found the problem (after taking my sister and driving it back over here with my sister following in the van Mom and Dad came down in). His verdict?
A pinpoint leak in the high pressure tube that carries the power steering fluid. It's fixed now, and they're all heading back to Davis. Jill in the car, and my folks following her back to Davis.
And my mom said not to worry about the $195 towing bill, and chalk it up as a learning experience.
And if the folks who parked their motorcycles in my spot don't get 'em moved by Weds, I'm calling the tow truck on them.
