The City, Not Long After, by Pat Murphy.

This book made me cry. And it reminds me that I want to blog about my city sometime, when I get the chance. Because the book put words to some of the thoughts I've had.

There's something special about San Francisco. And I need to figure out what it is.

(and I've got to stop casting Zibb mentally in the male lead's position, it makes books hurt more. OTOH, I'm casting myself in the female lead...)

you only see this city in the broad daylight... --fogtown, michelle shocked

That book is one of my favorites. I've posted about it before, but thank you for reminding me of its existence. Need to get my copy from home.

Yeah, I think it was one of your posts that got me interested in it in the first place. But I put it aside for a bit 'cause I really didn't have the money...and then when I was poking on Amazon the other night, I noticed that the King County library system was selling a copy for about two bucks, so I went for it.

And it was a beautiful, wonderful book. So, thank you. :)
