Let's see.

Report from hell done. I got it spiral bound and all and it's *impressive*

Now, tomorrow: clean up and pack room, go see Bulletproof Monk with Luns.

Friday is Davis day. I need to talk to [livejournal.com profile] koyote before then about meeting up.

Saturday, Jill and I drive home.

I'll be home until next Wednesday.

and then it's back to the Bay in an attempt to find a last ditch internship.

There's an interesting one in Boston, though. Hmmm, could I afford to live in Boston for two months?

Anyway, that's what's up with the katster. More later as circumstances move me.

But first, sleep.

Boston can be *expensive*. Rent for a nice three bedroom apartment in a decent town will run upwards of $1500. However, you can find places you can afford. A room or two in a huge old house in a not so great part of town in only $5-600. But it seems like everything costs more here. Then again, it's a fun place to live!

What sort of work/internship are you looking for and what are your qualifications?

You should get a place in Boston with [livejournal.com profile] arib, who wants to move out of his parents' place. Then when your internship ends at the end of summer and my grad school begins, you can move out and I can move in. <grin>

What ulterior motives?

Ick. Well, it's only a few months, maybe I can work something out. Granted, I'm in the Bay Area, where my friend and I are having trouble finding a two-bedroom place for under $1500...

I'll make the application. Worse comes to worse, I don't make it and have to invoke a different plan.

But if all goes well...

As for what I'm looking for, I just finished my first year of my master's in Information Management and Systems, and would like to practice some of those skills. So anything involving organizing data, although I'm flexible. (I'm a decent sysadmin, and a networking whiz.)

Right now, it's mainly anything that will pay me enough to pay my rent and eat. And if I get to see a different part of the country, it'd be great.
