katsterThere was once a time when I loved a certain show, and I loved it so much that I actually wanted to be on the show, because I thought it would be so fun to play with the host and do all the cool things that he did. I was enchanted. You know, instead of being just a Television Neighbour, I wanted to be his neighbour on the show.
I grew up eventually, all kids do, but I loved catching PBS when I got the chance, and occassionally caught the show again. It's been a while since I've had a chance, but I've not forgotten. And so, here I am, nearly twenty years later, and I discovered that host has wandered off to the Never Never Land in the sky.
Godspeed, Fred Rogers, y'done good. If I can do a quarter of the good, I'd consider it a fullfilled life. :)
