Okay, I'm back.

But I'm playing with a tricky question. I'm working on a project for class. In the bootstrap, we have to check to see if the socket is occupied or not. I see how to do this through catching the IOexception, but there's got to be a cleaner method to check and see if the port is occupied or not. Anybody know how?

Thanks in advance for the information.

[edit: always check your web references. katster was an idiot and wrote .txt instead of .html as an ending. Fixed now.]
