This worked for me. I didn't speak to my rooommate for a year. It eventually worked and she decided to move out. Headphones are a wonderful thing.

Soak her bedroom slippers if she wears slippers.

Soak her towel before she goes to take a shower.

Drop her toothbrush in the toilet, then rinse it off.

If she drinks coffee, and uses creamer, replace the creamer with baking soda.

Offer to do her laundry...and don't separate her whites.

Give her a dose of her own medicine, is my vote. Act as if the place belongs to you and she's an intruder. Put your own personal touches everywhere. Instead of discussing things with her, put up lists of rules for her to obey. Invite people over without warning her, preferably on a day when her usual practice is to relax at home. And *then* give her the silent treatment until she breaks or you move out, whichever comes first.

I used to have a whole list. Like "100 Things To Scare Your Roommate." Of course, some of them defied the laws of physics, like gluing furniture to the ceiling, but it was DAMN FUNNY! I'll see if I can find it somewhere. I doubt it though. But if I can, it is SO yours. You'd love it. ^^

even if it doesn't annoy them, at least ou get the benefit of listening to great music at fun volumes. All Hell For a Basement in particular sounds better the louder its played.

You could try a couple that have been pulled on me: loan out her stuff without asking, let your party guests have sex in her bed, that sort of thing. But while these may be good for a giggle, I'd also recommend that you not actually do them :<

Hmm.

My freshman roommate used to annoy me by clicking her ballpoint pen up and down for up to 5 hours at a stretch, farting constantly, playing Disney soundtracks, a nazi-like attendance to locking the door (it is very, very uncommon at Grinnell to lock one's room door), and leaving the curtains open when she left the room even though I repeatedly explained to her I was too short to open or close them without dragging a chair over. She also had an occasional tendency to be perky.

These were all very effective.

Well...I see I should clarify what I mean by roommate. We share an apartment. We each have our own room, but there's a common area and a kitchen and a bathroom we share. I'll write it up a little better when I get a chance, I'm working on neatening my bedroom a bit at the moment.

As for whether I liked the icon or not...here's my usericons. I just forgot to use it on this post. :)

Ah. Suitemates. It was actually one of my suitemates in college who pulled the sex-on-my bed stunt, and even that was unintentional. He just left his own party in progress to go knock boots with his girlfriend, so some of his guests ducked through the common bathroom into my room. After that, my side of the bathroom door started getting locked. Sorry you're still having trouble :
