To all the virus makers and script kiddies out there:

It isn't enough to admire something you'll never be good enough to do, but you have to destroy it as well? You know, it's a wonder we get any forward progress. It's times like this that I almost feel like I *might* support those strong anti-cracking laws Bush passed recently. :P

Messed up a good portion of the net by letting a worm that attacks Microsoft SQL Server loose.

Got pretty nasty there for an hour or two.

For myself, I'm surprised that there hasn't been some hospital patient who's died as an indirect result of an infected diagnostic computer. I'm not sure a manslaughter conviction of the virus author would hold up in court, but perhaps the publicity would wake some of the other wankers up.
