Everybody else is writing about the war situation...

...and I'm just horribly confused about it. One the one hand, I agree that Saddam needs to go. On the other hand, there's a right and a wrong way to do this, and I think Bush is going the wrong way. I've made no secret of my dislike of Bush, but this is insane. I feel in some ways like I've gone through the looking glass.

johnpalmer summed up my feelings very well in his post on the upcoming war.

Meanwhile, I'll try to keep my mind on more mundane things, and not worry if I'm going to have a job come 2004. Midterms are more important at the moment. But, at this moment, I feel kinda ashamed to be an American, and I'm scared. And that's probably not a good place to be at, but...
